Why the fuck doesn't he sign off all his live journal entries, like he does in that insufferable way he does on GB ?

Does he think Gooners are tha fucking thick headed that they can't remember his name ??? Or is the man that much of a vain, egotistical turd ??

Anyhow few of the latest Bum highlights from his live journal ...

1:07 am Casting confirmations for The Hobbit are trickling in -- apparently not only are we getting Martin Freeman as Bilbo, Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf, and Andy Serkis as Gollum, but Sylvester McCoy as Radagast.

Be still my fanboy heart!

10:45 am Staggering photo here, courtesy peteyoung. Though Kate's first reaction was "BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL!!!!"

Followed up a week-long server installation in Canberra with a weekend in Melbourne surrounded by witty and enthusiastic friends, followed immediately by three more days in Canberra where everything that could go wrong did. Including me having to stay over an extra day. I've escaped now, but I'm utterly flattened. Final score: Jon 1, Medicare certificate system 0, but Lord did it go into extra time.

So basically in the last few days I've gone from one of the best weekends of my recent memory, to one of the most punishing work-weeks I've ever had -- veering between feeling loved and accepted by all, and feeling like I generally fail at being a functioning adult. It's going to take me a while to make sense of everything -- but I'm still really glad I went to Melbourne, and just as glad to be back with Kate and the cats.

Current Music: Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes, "The Time Of My Life"

WTF ??? Listening to The Time of My Life, Bum has hit a new low Very Happy

Just got back from WorldCon. This is the most fun I've had in ages! Proper write-up to follow once I've got more grip on the whole word thing. After staying up till 4:15 AM last night, I can do a fairly good impression of someone who's coherent... but make me go for more than a couple of minutes, and it's gibber flibble hoop all over again!

So here's someone a bit more coherent: Jane Espenson on Torchwood S4. I love the idea that they're actually going to write all the scripts before they start shooting! That's a revolutionary idea for either British *or* American TV! Of course, this is Russell Davies we're talking about -- the man who was the next best thing to Aaron Sorkin when it came to late script deliveries

Fuck me, how the hell can anyone take a moron who uses such crudge grammar such as gibber flibble hoop.
And comparing the creator of The West Wing to Fathead ?

That's all for now, any one find more shitty diatribe from Bum Bag, post it here (especially from GB where I'm now banned Smile )

Cheers, Mumbles
