Looks like a new addition to the amazing classic series line:

"Collect all 4 figures to complete your Cyber Controller from "The Tomb of the Cybermen" (1967)"
Fuck. Now I have to get a Cybusman. Ah well, can make use of some matches.

They seem to have borrowed that idea from the Marvel action figures, where
you'd hafta collect five X-Men figures to get all the pieces of the
Onslaught figure.

BTW, doesn't the Cybercontroller's head look like a glans ? Laughing

Yeah lol! In SFX, to celebrate the launch of the New Series, they had a special section, and had a picture of that guy with a man stood in front of him, with the caption 'the term "dickhead" proved to be a mistake'.
Quite suitable, really.

Ah man I was hoping the cybercontroller would have a monochrome effect paint job. The Invasion one is pretty tasty, Tenth planet looks a bit dodgy. But yeah, I'm fucking all over this!

I will definitely be getting the three classic cybermen. Might try and pick up the parts from the modern version for the Cybercontroller on ebay.

Picked up three of these today, all except The Invasion one. Superb quality.

I think they had alright gloves in earthshock/5/attack, but in nemesis they had blatantly obvious cricket gloves, it added to the ridiculousness of the whole thing

True, but then again Moonbase cybermen had practice plastic golf balls stuck to their joints and in a way looked equally as ridiculous.

As a point of interest, which is your favourite design of Cyberman, Rob?

Maybe golf and cricket originated on Mondas.

And if anyone's interested, my fave Cybermen are the Invasion/Revenge types. Although I still have a soft spot for the Earthshock mob, despite the fact that they are bit too chatty and human for my liking. The current incarnation aren't too bad either.

I think the new Cybermen look shit.

The best ones are those from The Invasion, although I'm fond of the Moonbase, Wheel in Space, Tenth Planet, and Earthshock designs as well.

Golf, maybe.

Cricket wwas invented on the planet Krikket and is only played on Earth, which is why we are shunned by the rest of the galaxy, except for the occasional teazers.

Probably the Invasion ones.

Quite like the original ones from Tenth Planet too.

The Tenth Planet cybs are very sinister and the Invasion ones are a classic design too. The 80s versions were dreadful but thankfully we have hit top form again in the new series. That said the CO reproductions of all versions are top drawer.
