Just about to listen to this now, sure hope it's an improvement on The Whispering Forest, the previous story in this trilogy, which was complete and utter dog shit.

Well I thought it was great, a really superb re-introduction of the Mara, and frankly I think it's better then Kinda or Snakedance, two stories that have always bored me, can't really say much about the plot without spoiling it, but the script by Marc Platt is fantastic, his best BF work for a while, he really does know how to write for the 5th doctor IE Spare Parts, and the cast is great, especially Davo and Janet Fielding.

If your a fan of the Davison era or Mara stories (which I am not TBH) this is a must listen, but even for fans like me, it's still a cracking audio.

I just heard this one too. I like the Mara stories overall, and think this was a good third installment. I haven't yet heard Cobwebs or Whispering Forest yet, so I can't comment on those.

I wouldn't mind hearing this especially if it has Davison and Fielding in.

Although I wasn't keen on "Kinda", the Mara as a monster-concept has potential which I think "Snakedance" explored more effectively and I'd be interested to hear this BF.

Yeah it's a great audio this one, in fact I'd say it's probably the best Davison BF audio, along with Spare Parts.

Why isn't Platt working for the tv show?

Nah, let's have another Chibnall instead. Sad Rolling Eyes
