Yes, probably quickly getting back to on their CB radios again to talk to people who were more fun and "with it" than some boringly sad sensible type hanging around down the pub all day long.

Apart from the story-arc seasons of Key and Trial, it's good to see the wonderful season 10 being the first to be completely released on DVD.

Hooray!

I thought all of the classic season 22 had been released on DVD?

I think that was the first non-arc Season to be released because it was so good. Very Happy

Don't forget Season 26. All brilliant except Battlefield.

Erm, they were the newly-regenerated Doctor goes a bit bonkers and the Ace becomes a woman story-arcs. Or something. Oh, all right - I forgot Seasons 22 and 26.

I'm just too excited at the prospect of Frontier and Planet on DVD.

The happiest days of my childhood will come flooding back: tea and crumpets on the beach with Susanne and Auntie Betty; a glorious summer spent with Mummy and Daddy in Wells-Next-The-Sea; walking Smudger, the incontinent old labrador, to visit Grandpa Tomkins, the incontinent old man; furtive first kisses with Sophie Jones under the pier...

Hang on, that's someone else's childhood. Some bastard's stolen my childhood.

Ooooooh. My copy arrived this morning - well done amazonian and Royal Mail.

Watched the Delgado biodoc over lunch. Great stuff. Wonderful archive footage of the great man. It almost brought tears to my eyes to hear Kismet recall hearing of Roger's passing and Barry Letts remembering her reaction at his funeral.

Seeing this makes one realise what wonderful people have been involved with the show over the years, a trend recently bucked by the involvement of Rizla T Ditch.

I'll get stuck into some more later this evening. It's going to be good.

You jammy git. I haven't received mine yet. Mad
I wish i'd done it the old fashioned way this time. Apparently it's only £21.99 in Sainsburys.
Hope you're enjoying it! Very Happy

Watched some more of the Frontier DVD tonight.

Space War documentary is a "making of" feature of the usual quality. Then I watched episodes 1 and 2 with commentary. Katy, Barry, and Terrance are darlings. Hickman isn't.

Sad to see that the brilliant Orbital 40th anniversary montage has been tainted by the inclusion of Eccleston's and Tennant's gurning faces. When are they going to realise that we don't spend £25 on a real Doctor Who DVD to have Eccleston grinning like a twat in front of the London Eye on our screens.

I think they should have had it as a telesnap too just so fans could imagine if the episode didn't exist at all.
