Currently re-playing through Sin and it's mission pack. Again I reckon it was under-rated when it came out. It really does do some innovative things with the Quake 2 engine, such as the way it has computer screens you can access through DOS prompts. And the level design is clearly influenced by Duke Nukem 3D in the most part.

I never did manage to track down Sins mission pack, is it any good?

I think it has all round better level design than the main game. It operates as more or less a sequel actually, which is quite nice. Unusually large number of levels for a mission pack.

I used to love playing Sin online, the map with the giant front living room where you could climb up the bookcase and hide amongst the books, grab invisibility on the top of the picture frame and bounce off the sofa was incredible.

I also liked the map with the skyrise blocks too and how you could rocket launch across them in order to gain the deadly sniper gun.

Yep, that level rocks. Really innovative stuff.

I've played a little bit of Kingpin and am impressed so far, though all I've done is run around the streets a bit and pick a few fights. But it's got atmosphere in spades.

The only things that bothered me about Radiata Stories were how small the world was it seems vast at first, but you can walk across it in like 3 minutes load times and how unbelievably retarded and unrealistic some of the characters personalities were Cross, for one. This is a guy who would get absolutely killed very early into the story if it was real life, but manages to last until the very end. Yes, that kind of character.. If you take the game for the light-hearted character recruitment fantasy romp that it is, youll love it.

I'm currently playing Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, which you can get for free on Abandonia.com, along with Duke3d engine zombie shoot em up "Blood".

Turok is pretty easy with occasional rock hard bits, it's a fun game
