Okay, here are the forum rules:

1. NO FLAMING. Attacking other users in a personal manner (be it forums or PM) will not be tolerated. However, we happen to have a 'blind eye' policy if both parties are seen to be actively participating in the argument. Feel free to flame Doctor Who writers/producers, etc.

2. No bigoted or racial remarks. Well actually, be a tosser if you want, but you will get fucking rinsed by everyone- get used to that, it's the real world.

Failure to uphold/adhere to these rules may result in you receiving a warning or being 'barred' for good...

Otherwise, say whatever you want! Very Happy

Additional:

- Swearing

Anything goes, but a warning may be issued for repeated profanity/insults towards another member of the forum. If they're a fucking titwanker I'll let it slide though...

- Off topic policy

We accept that conversations progress and evolve, therefore if a thread about, say, 'The Pyramids Of Mars' goes off on a tangent about Nicola Bryant's arse, we wont step in and slap people's wrists. Just as long as it remains vaguely related to the subject at hand. If you wish to bring a derailed topic back on track, then do so by all means...

- File Sharing Policy

You can discuss YouTube, P2P, whatever. As a forum we don't condone anything illegal, but we are not your parents and fully understand that discussions of this type often occur in casual conversation. Go ahead, talk away, but any direct links to unauthorised game/music sites may result in the thread being removed. The same goes for pornographic material too.

Also if your post has a dodgy link/image, do the honourable thing and mention it's NSFW (Not Safe For Work), leave a few empty lines between the warning and the dodginess.

The staff have the right to modify/delete posts as they see fit.

Additional - I'm (sort of) the Admin & this is (technically) my manor, but if you think I'm a dick/totally wrong about something, be as flametastic/hostile as you like, I will NOT ban you or hold it against you. Too much.

Okay Liam, I adjusted the rules a little as I thought they needed tweaking. Here's another one.

- Spamming

To repeatedly post messages on top of each other is generally regarded as forum abuse. The edit function is not just there for show, so please remember to use it when posting. There is no reward for a high post count and sometimes multiple posting can swamp a thread down.

Posts that consist of a single word or smiley may be removed.

As this is thread covers the general rules of the Hive, I have decided to lock it as keeping it open serves no real purpose. If you have a question or problem in regards to the forum, either refer to the problems thread or contact me or Liam via PM. Thank you.
