blasphemy! Anyway how can it possibly work with anything but the n64 controller? The n64 controller was a quirk of fate in that it was the only console controller which you could actually play FPS on, it was really good at strafe running if you held it slightly to one side & it had a z button where a trigger would normally be

THIS WON'T WORK

What are you on about? The Xbox controller is way better than the N64 one was for FPSs, it's got 2 analogue sticks for a start. GoldenEye is hopelessly overrated anyway.

For me the d-pad & analogue stick + that particular game engine gave a very immersive & immediate experience, the control system & game itself are so simple that it's the ultimate post pub shooter (4 player).

X box is just a playstation dual shock with thicker handles last time I checked? It's good but for me the n64 & goldeneye was the best, closest to mouse & WASD I've ever had (held at an angle though). Personal taste blah blah.

I think this game will be cack because as i said, the controller was a big part of it - we can both agree the game itself wasn't exactly a revelation (apart from it's robust simplicity), as such a flash bang remake would be pointless for me

Hopefully that makes things clearer! 007 has a special place in my heart so you'll have to indulge me if the facts don't add up Laughing

Except that Oddjob wasn't short, the guy who played him was 5'10", the fact that they've made him really short seems borderline racist to me.

So if you play as oddjob you're perpetuating offensive racial stereotypes too! It's the lowest of the low

Make sure you check out the action replay codes to unlock some of the beta content in goldeneye. It's great.
I used to use it to play the complete span of facility and cradle. Made the game so much more fun.

Project 64 goldeneye rom has a ton of inbuilt cheats to piss about with. Hours of fun.
