post things in here if you think anyone else might be interested in them...

"the crazies" is on channel 4 tonight at 2:35am, it's a pre dawn of the dead Romero movie, and is good fun with a spooky edge.

basically its a bit like 28 days later, in that a virus escapes and overtakes a small town in america, so the military is sent in. great stuff

The Art of Spain, BBC4, Thursday nights, great combination of art and history.

Anyone watching Criminal Justice, BBC 1's drama which is being shown every night this week?

It's pretty good, if a bit bleak for those who like everything to be sparkly and happy. Good writing, good performances, good direction. Decent popular drama.

By the way, it's written by a Peter Moffat.

How many are there?

Yeah, watching this. It is interesting because we don't know who's side we are really on. Pete Pos. is excellent and love the mind chess.

And the dectective (Bill someone?) is turning in a good performance, as is the lad playing Ben. The scenes that show the prison "economy" are terrifying.

I'm surprised you like this Rani, given that Ben's mother is played by the woman who was Cutter's wife in Primeval Wink

Well she isn't a major role here and at least has better material. Wink

Yes the prison scenes are an eye opener as is the behaviour of the legal professionals. Quite like the scruffy lawyer (forgot his name).

I doubt it.

Have you stuck with Criminal Justice B? Final part tonight.

Yes, I have.

The controversy it's caused is hilarious. How dare the silk and lawyers be portrayed as venal, unethical characters Laughing Dramatically, the Frances character represents the good conscience of the profession, so the criticisms are completely wrong-headed. The lags don't come out of it very well either but you don't hear them complaining Laughing
