Was chatting to Liam about these last night, anyone got any of these? I have Davros and the seventh Doctor somewhere, originally I had Ace and a few Daleks as well. Wouldn't mind collecting the lot, they go on eBay relatively cheaply.

There used to be a game-"Doctor Who:Invasion Earth" you could play with the figures as well. I think it was a "Warhammer 40,000" affair where you
pitted armies of DW characters against each other.

Talking of which, I'd like to see the W40K armies battle DW ones.
Imagine the Space Marines taking on the Daleks, or the Draconians
battling the Necrons!

Cheers for that!

I have the 4th Doctor, Romana 2 and K-9, and if you guys want a decent Tardis for a good price (And don't fancy shelling out 20 quid for the rather badly moulded tardis by Harlequin/Black Tree Design) then there's a lovely resin kit of a Glasgow Police Box for sale on eBay, for £5.99. it's to the right scale and looks a million miles better than the Harlequin one. I bought this, and I'm putting it, together with the figures, on a resin base that looks like a gravel quarry/alien planet.

That sounds excellent! I'm off out now but I'm going to have a look at that tonight, thank-you!

Here's my completed scene, to give you an idea of what the police box looks like. I made the signage using Photoshop and sticky labels.

That's beautiful. Greywoolfe. Puts my efforts of painting to shame! But then I am a newcomer.

My Tom Baker isn't too bad, though - the scarf took ages.

Yes lovely job. Are these the lead figures from c.1987 or a later generation?

Thanks guys, really. Embarassed I'm not sure how old the figures are, as I bought them recently from Black Tree Design. The moulds do seem to be fairly old, as some of the raised detail wasn't very crisp and there was a little bit of flash (Surplus material along the mould lines) that needed cleaning up. I decided to do Romana's pink outfit despite the absence of scarf, as her red one would have been too much like the Doctor's outfit. Of all the figures on that scene, I think K-9 actually survived best.

Yes, I got mine from Black Tree. The moulds are old but the figures are new.
