Going to be a story I've not yet seen, so which is it to be?

Of that lot, i'd say: Talons.
An outright classic, in a collection of near classics. Very Happy

(Apart from Time Meddler and Masque which err towards dull.)

Cheers Ludders Smile I'll let some more votes role in, but Talons has a vote from you and I know Liam rates the hell out of it, so!

I would go with The War Games, personally.

I find Talons a bit dull.

Why don't you just get them by other means?

If you really haven't seen Talons or Image Shocked then you should choose one of those two.

Prefer seeing them on my shelf, I'm of the materialistic generation haha - although to be fair to myself, Doctor Who is one of the only things I am materialistic over.

Well it's exceptional value for money at under £2 per episode.

Shame there's about 4 episodes worth of padding. Wink

Yes, but I don't find the padded episodes that boring. There are some great performances and also this is the first time we meet the Timelords ( technically, even though The Meddling Monk has a TARDIS ). This is where the Whoniverse was really taking shape.

Not a fan of Image, either. Confused Embarassed Horror of Fang Rock is better! Very Happy

Definitely the best episodes of the story.
I wouldn't normally dis The War Games. It's a bit long winded, but it's great if you don't try to watch too much at once, and the latter half is really good.
But i just think Talons is better! Very Happy

Fang Rock is brilliant, it had me on the edge of my seat.

I don't think they saw it edited quite like that in 1969, Mike. Wink

Laughing I don't mean that, Ludders! I mean with all the revelations, with the Time Lords etc etc.
