I read it something like 10 years ago and wasn't really impressed at all, thought it was too dense and self-indulgent and confusing, and I normally like Marc Platt's work.

Thinking of re-reading it again, although I wonder if I should now, considering how RTD has fucked up canoncity so much, basically most of the NA's and EDA's are probably considered non-canon now, another reason to hate fathead.

I read it about the same time as you, and thought it was great. I'd say yes, give it a re-read.

Yes, I'd agree. I re-read it again only a few months back and it mostly stands up for itself very well.
