Total... Other than if Joel McNeely composed the score... he's composed the scores to several straight to video Disney sequels... and he is a really really good composer... who ought to get much better gigs.

Total trash... other than the scores being good Wink

Ah... which OST...

The Album or the Ultimate Edition.

I own both (and the DVD... its an entertaining rubbish movie).

The Album (Selection from the score) is terrific.

The Ultimate Edition (all the score) is rubbish because it is presented as editted into the movie rather than being presented as composed (as in the complete scores to the classic trilogy). I don't know who's crazy idea that was... but it makes a wonderful score into a total musical mess and hard to listen to.

the spiderman movies are entertaining but the second one was very average.

disappointed raimi basically chucked away his style.

this one looked like it would be the best though...

Did you watch the same 'Spider-Man II' I watched??? Shocked Its leaps and bounds better than the first... actually I have often gone so far as to say its the best super-hero movie yet made. Mind you, I've always been fond of Doc Ock... the only thing I dislike about the movie is that Doc Ock was killed off - I thought that rather unnecessary.

best superhero movie yet made?! what about

batman
batman returns
batman begins
superman the movie
the crow
unbreakable

spiderman 2 just seemed a bit dull to me, i mean there was absolutely nothing at all wrong with it, it just didnt blow me away the way i wanted it to. it felt too glossy and hollywood, plus ive never really been keen on doc ock, i would have preferred the first spidey movie to be him as a vigilante, then the 2nd to be venom, then the third be venom & carnage.

i loved raimis wild, kinetic camerawork and use of sound to indicate onscreen movements in movies like evil dead 2 and quick the dead, and it just seemed to me like he toned down for spidey.

plus i want everything to be as dark and grim as possible, and i found the spiderman movies to be very chipper and breezy...

Hey Liam... I took the other superhero movies into account. IMHO 'Spider-Man II' is better, even though your list is full of impressive movies.

Love the fact you rightly listed 'Unbreakable' as a Superhero movie Very Happy Its certainly the most intelligent Superhero movie Wink

Yeah, I have to say Spidey II took a big phat dump on the first. I have heard similar reports of the 3rd one being a wee bit poop, and that's from Spidey fans themselves. Supposed to be confusing... designed for multiple viewings. Doesn't matter 'cos I'll probably end up seeing it anyway.

Yes, the word is that 'Spider-Man III' has disappointed. However, it has been highly anticipated... and those seldom meet expectations without there being actually much wrong with the movie in the cool light of day.

Saw half-an-hour of a pile of ordure last night starring Geena Davies and Samuel L Jackson.

The low point was Geena Davis driving a truck over a bridge screaming "Eat my cock." No, really.

No, he called her "a hot bitch."
