Fuck the BBC, Fuck Moffatt, Fuck Barrowboy, Fuck Simm Fuck Bingo Wings, Fuck Tensquee, Fuck Chibnall, Fuck Collinson, Fuck Upper Boat. But most of all, fuck Russel T Davies, the single most offensive person on the planet. An unmitigated turd of a writer. A man with less artistic ability than a beached whale. A man who has single handedly destroyed something we all love and cherish. Doctor Who.

I think everyone is in agreement that the Immortality thing is just so far beyond the pale that we cannot go on being insulted with such ridiculous inanity in the hollow guise of a once truly great institution.*

It is time for the Hive to declare once and for all, independence. If Doctor Who as we know it is dead in the mainstream, then it falls to us to keep it alive by declaring our own continuity. Every single one of us on here can compose a better story than Rimming the Dunce. So let's get to it and return to the last known true Doctor. Number 8. Paul McGann. A wanderer of this universe and the fourth dimension, and a Gentleman to boot!

*With all due apologies to Matt Smith, to whom we bear no ill will at all.

I'd personally love to see a proper direct continuation of the Classic Series with McGann in the role.

They could regenerate him in to Matt Smith afterwards, now that Matts had a trial run in the Unbound Spin-Off series.

I might start work on an idea I've had for ages featuring the Eighth Doctor in an adventure in Victorian London involving the myth of Spring Heeled Jack.

Yes.

Either in writing, audio or film.

A Leisure Hive Fanthology (With profits donated to charity) of McGann stories could be a good start.

Love it.

I've written a few eighth Doctor fan fictions and he is brilliant to write for.

A Hive continuity sounds an excellent idea to me - we could have our own companion to travel with the eighth Doctor in a series of novels. Wonderful.

Oh, and the prospect of the Hive declaring independence from the rest of fandom is incredibly appealing.

Especially now that the rest of the fandom seem to be RTD's loyal followers, even though the man has done more to make the series a complete laughing stock than JNT.

Woah, woah, woah.

Apparently the actual line is: "I can change into anything and 507".

FUCK. OFF.

That's not just removing the limit, that's changing the limit without fucking reason, and completely fucking negating the stories of the Master reaching the end of his regenerative cycle and stealing bodies.

Jesus H Corbet, what the fuck.

If the episode where this happens shows the Doctor being a sarcastic prat I can let this go, but if not I think I'm calling it quits you guys.

That proves it once and for all, NuWho is a remake, not a continuation, and not a very good remake at that.

So we're not Whovians, what are we?

We need a name that doesn't evoke cuntishness and the idolisation of third-rate hacks.
