DWM reports that BF are going to release the stories on audio that were planned for the 1990 series. Will be interesting to see what they had planned.

Cool. Pity they can't set them to animation or something, though...

The Cartmel masterplan stuff? How are they going to reconcile it with the stuff they and others have produced since featuring the 7th and Ace.

I'm much more interested in their Colin's Missing/Canceled stories like the Nightmare Fair that are about to be released.

I don't think it will be too much of a problem. There's a big interview with Colin about the new stories in DWM and he says how the character in these audios is different to the one he's been playing in other BF audios. I'm much more excited about the McCoys but then I prefer his Doctor.

That's because you've always liked the queue-jumping Doctors, eh Rani? Very Happy

I don't know of any queues for the role let alone any queue jumpers.

Nonsense.

To jump a queue means to be served before the person before you has finished receiving a full service ( and before they choose to willingly depart to allow you the courtesy of the aforementioned full service which they have finished receiving), there have been at least two actors in the role who have taken advantage of this action.

No it doesn't. It means to get ahead of someone else who is waiting in the queue with you. Rolling Eyes Either way I don't know of any.

Both Colin Baker and McGann were waiting patiently in the queue to play the part again and were first there before McCoy (with the aid of Grade) and Eccleston shoved their way in.

Neither Colin or McGann had finished their service beforehand.

Incorrect. Colin was sacked. McGann's contract had expired.

They hadn't voluntarily moved away for the next guy to move in which in my book is "queue jumping"

And McGanns contract never expired, it wasn't even honoured in the first place, come to think of it neither was Colins.

Yes it had expired. And basically what you are saying is that after Colin was sacked the show should never have been made again. Nonsense.

As I recall, a TARDIS key and set redesign were in the works, weren't they?

Found the key:
http://www.doctorwhoprops.com/dw_images/tardis-key.jpg

Notes on the site say it was used in Ghostlight and Survival.

I can't find any pictures of the planned console room redesign, though. As I recall, it had no pediment, and hung from the ceiling by a McGann-like column. Underneath was the Seal of Rassilon. All a little OTT...
