I didn't believe it then I looked at Matt Smith's hair which is shorter in these pictures than it was during his first season of filming........

Please prove me wrong!!

Sounds like a complete hoax. Given Matt has appeared twice with Billie
in Non-Who stuff (Sally Lockhart and Secret Diary of a Call Girl) it'd be
easy to get fake images of Woes Tyler with the Kid. I can't see Tennant
or Barrowman returning to DW either-Tennant has TV work lined up and Barrowboy is working in the US.

Really? "THe Empty Child/The Doctor Dances", TGITF, HM/FOB, Blink,
The Eleventh Hour, The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, Amy's Choice
and Vincent and the Doctor are superior to the McGann TVM and
equal to the best of the Classic Series. Cool

In my opinion.

I agree that Blink, Time Of Angels/Flesh and Stone and Amys Choice were better than the TVMovie in their plotting and narration, but any PoohWho post 2005 I find incredibly difficult to see as being a continuation of the Classic Series franchise.

Although the TVMovie had many faults(Snogging, horrible smaltzy Disney music, possibly the half-human revelation...which I'm not that fussed about and think can be easily explained but realise many fans hate it, and of course the americanisms), I still find that fucking Movie a lot more palatable as being a direct continuation of the Classic Series francise than the stuff Fathead and Muppet have churned out since, and that is namely because of McGanns characterisation.

Although Matt Smith has been the first actor to properly re-discover the character since McGann, I still find it hard to reconcile him as being a continuation thanks to the Salford BinMan who suddenly pops up from nowhere with no regeneration or explanation and the gurning Mockney Twat.

Incidentally, getting back to thread topic, I think the "spoiler" is a hoax and a pretty poor one at that.

Tend to agree - at least the TV movie felt like Who with a few bits it didn't really need in the mix, the new one just feels like something based on Who to me, regardless of how good some episodes may be.

Imagine if Space 1999 had carried on. In season 3 they introduce Metal Mickey as a character, complete with everything that went with Metal Mickey, and suddenly it just doesn't feel like Space 1999 any longer. Then, the season finale sees Metal Mickey destroyed by his arch-nemesis Popeye the Sailor Man. Season 4 seems to be something of a return to form, but the damage is done.

Thou Shalt Not Piss On Thine Chips, as I believe it says in the Bible.

Not quite, the smarmy house style of New Who even ruins the best of its output. If Inferno or Talons had a line like "life is short and you are hot" I'd be kicking the TV screen in. The lousy parts of Old Who were a shit on the carpet rather a shit in the trifle like New Who is, its crap parts contaminate the whole thing.

Oh, for fuck's sake. Look at the clothes Matt's wearing there- that was the filming for The Eleventh Hour- which was televised earlier this year. Was Bille or Tensquee there? Were they fuck. That blonde woman was just a blonde woman, and this 'spoiler fan vid' is utter bollocks.

I did notice the Doctor's clothes.......
As I stated the hair was what threw me as it appears much shorter in the picture than he had it during shooting for the fifth season and it would be typical of Moffat to get the Doctor to cross timelines and go back to the point in time that the 'Eleventh hour' took place in, and hence therefore Matt Smith would need to shoot additional scenes in Tenannt's clothes.
Moffat has stated we will learn what the relationship is that Amy has with the Doctor in series 6 so it may well be the case that we go back in time again to a point earlier on in Amy's timeline to see how it works.
We also saw in the Big Bang that the Doctor suddenly no longer worries about crossing his own time stream, so the idea that he revisits that point in time is a plausible one.
