Primeval without a doubt. It has something for everyone and is genuinely exciting.

Dunno why, cos Liz is a great actor, but it doesn't come through in SJA. The directing and the stories make it look like bad amdram. The fact that i's the most Whoish of all NuWho is just pitiful. K9 & Company is better.

Definitely Primeval, while there have been a couple of decent SJA episodes Primeval has achieved consistant standards of quality family sci-fi.

To be honest, I've seen maybe most of one episode of Primeval and about three minutes of SJA, and though I didn't see anything that really made me want to watch either, SJA just seemed unambiguously a children's show, and not necessarily in a good way (Spongebob Squarepants) so just wasn't for me. That said, what I think of it probably doesn't matter.

For what it is, Primeval looks okay - not the sort of thing I'd go for (though I'd agree it shits all over much NuWho as pointed out elsewhere) necessarily, but good of its kind. Liked the idea of the future predator and the mer-queen.

Not seen Primeval. Gave up SJA after the awful season 2. I found I didn't much give a shit after Maria left anyway.

The only ep of SJA i ever really liked was Eye of the Gorgon. I thought the last season was shit.

Primeval. Closest thing on TV to actual Doctor Who that exists.

I'd go as far as to say that Primeval is Doctor Who for the 21st century.

Undoubtedly Primeval.

Sarah Jane Adventures has had the good one or two stories per season but Primevals standard is higher than Sarah Jane Adventures parent programme despite not having as flexible format in story-telling.
