Sensational news Very Happy

I've always said the Ringpull T Deleterious's greatest acheivement was to make Doctor Who fans dislike Lis Sladen.

Can you imagine if she had recorded a commentary for Seeds of Death?

"Russell would have taken us on location to Antartica."

"The special effects aren't as good as they are now."

"There's more emotion these days."

"£2000 is not enough."

Laughing

Funny post, but spot the deliberate mistake. Wink

I always have to pause to remember which story is which.

The Rani truth-grain more like considering that is about the size of any factual stuff you actually come out with in comparison to the ten million tons of bollocks.

Literally a grain.

Great to see it again. Superb direction from Camfield.
Tom is very Pertwee in this story. I half expected an outburst of Venusian Akido, or whatever it is. Very Happy
Tony Beckley is sublime, and you gotta love Amelia Ducat. Laughing

Good extras. Not done the commentary, but the main docu is good, and there's an interesting Geoffrey Burgon featurette.
Also, the 4th Doctor 'Stripped For Action' feature is a must have, if you've been following all the others.
There's a couple of things i'm not arsed about, like the Then and Now location featurettes, but overall a pretty good package, with no sign of cunts like Dickman & Roberts. Razz

I've hunkered down for the evening with some supper, a bottle of wine, and the Seeds of Doom DVD.

Full review later, but I'd like to say now that the John Challis easter egg is hilarious.

Greatest line in Docotr Who: "What a pity; I could have had two pods."

Brilliant Tom commentary moments (just from the first three episodes):

"I had a religious background - I used to be a saint."

When asked by Philip Hinchcliffe if he found his second season to be different to his first: "Yes, they gave me a pay rise in the vain hope they'ed get a performance out of me."

When asked if he's seen The Sarah Jane Adventures: "Oh no. I'm in bed by then."
