A beer mat?

Generous to the last, Filth Laughing

I'd say it's more likely that Davies writes his scripts on half a cigarette paper or a third of a leaf of toilet tissue. Used, of course.

If you think about, only the stories up to and including Keys of Marinus are canonical.

I'm not sure about that myself, which spin-offs did Tlotoxl or Cameca from "The Aztecs" feature in again? Or were they in some of Ranis fanboy hack books? I haven't read any of them myself.

Yes, you are quite correct. The Aztecs is canonical, whereas The Sensorites isn't due to the reference in Planet of the Ood.

All Dalek and Cybermen stories are also non-canonical due to their appearances in the last four years. The Sontarans are also non-canonical. The reference to "Martians" in Christmas Invasion could possibly rule out all stories in which Ice Warriors appear.

Thus far we have this:

Season One Canonical Stories

Unearthly Child

Edge of Destruction

Marco Polo

Keys of Marinus (episode 4 dubious)

Reign of Terror

Not so, it was cheap fanboy hack nonsense. It is as much canon as the books which have the brig as a lothario, shagging anything in a skirt.

Rubbish, it had Nicholas Courtnet starring as The Brigadier so therefore had his endorsement and unlike RTD's remake rubbish was made by Classic Series creators so therefore was more canon and a continuation of the Classic Series.

RTD's series is just remake revisionist rubbish and written by fanboys, and therefore is about as canon as the books are.
Not so. Downtime etc were written by fanboys without the endorsement of the BBC who own the copyright. They couldn't even call it DrWho

Yes I know. Why can't he be a fanboy? Terrance Dicks wrote some NAs too you know. Very Happy

He's a proper television writer: by fanboy, you obviously meant they couldn't write for shit (whereas Platt certainly can).

So why did the BBC called Torchwood "Torchwood" then if you suddenly expect us to take the two twits with Captain Jack as being canon?

"Downtime" was written and made by respected authors and directors who worked on the classic series you idiot, not a load of jumped up back slapping fanboys like RTD and co.

No doubt you think Christopher Barry who also worked on it is a fucking fanboy too then eh? Rolling Eyes

And the BBC did endorse "Downtime", they didn't mind several characters and monsters being used from the programme, unlike RTD who bullys frightened old women with legal thugs just because they make a knitting pattern of some flumps for her kids.

Yeah, I didn't bother posting up the remake midget sontarans picture, if RTD's writing the episodes it will be shite.

He can still be a professional writer and a fanboy. Just as Filth classifes the NAs as fanboy books even though they were written by people like Terrance Dicks.

The difference being Dicks and Platt made their name off the classic tv series firsthand rather than writing for fanboy books firstly like RTD, Gattiss and the rest of the fanboys on the remake series all did.

And yet you support GAry Russell who comes into the latter group. Rolling Eyes

That is probably because Gary Russell is simply a better writer than hack charlatan RTD.

Quick someone get Rani's nurse, he's calling out for her!

It could be a serious delusional attack this time otherwise!
