Just read there is a fault on the authoring of this DVD causing it to miss part of episode 3. If affected there is an answerphone to ring at the BBC (see OG for number) to arrange a replacement disc.

Maybe they could put such an error on the Trial of a Timelord release so it skips episodes 1-13? Laughing

There's no need to look at Outhouse Gallifrey; the number's on the inner sleeve of BBC/2 entertain discs.

As for your remark about Trial:
Rolling Eyes

Mind you, that could explain the quality of the four seasons of New Who: authoring fault.

Is it the same number as I get the impression this is a specific recorded message but maybe not. 2 Entertain have made a number of errors on disks. You'd think they'd have some quality control in place. (Obviously not if they're putting out Battlefield too! Wink )

I wonder if they could release a 4 series NewWho boxset which has an authoring error which allows the episodes to skip straight from the opening seconds of "Rose" to the final seconds of "Journeys End" Very Happy

It could release it as "the special enhanced edition boxed set"

Hey come up with your own jokes rather than copy other people's Rolling Eyes

Will the corrected edition take out all the 'improved' effects, bizarre colour changes and CGI spanners that the RT have stuck on the disc?

Not sure that there are any on this. Personally I don't mind them as long as they are optional.

Quite often they aren't optional though. They've actually decided to meddle with the original programme. That's the problem.

Yes, the author of most of those scripts is an arsewipe.
