Maybe their doing a rip off of 'The Ultimate Adventure'?

(if anyone doesn't know, a Doctor Who play starring either Jon Pertwee, Colin Baker or for one night Ian Banks which toured the country in 1989. I was lucky enough to see it when Pertwee was playing the role, it was worth it just to see him being the Doctor again Very Happy )

I also saw Pertles in 'The Ultimate Adventure' and had the pleasure of meeting him afterwards - he was possessed of a reassuringly firm handshake! I felt sorry for those who missed that run and got saddled with Colin Baker instead, as at the time it genuinely didn't occur to me that anyone liked him.

I think you mean David Banks, Renegade (Ian Banks is someone quite, quite different); now that really would have been a bad night to see it!

Songs in NooHoo can fuck right off. Nil points.

If she sings it nude, it won't be so bad.

Indeed, but the first person to call her "an opera singer" is an ignorant cunt of Wagnerian proportions.

Is it too much to hope for that the Doctor will pull a Pope and leave midway through her performance?

I'm getting really wound up now!! First Moffat says the Christmas special is going to be dark, gothic and scare the kids but its obvious now that with a flying shark and a song in it, it's going to be more RTD inspired rubbish.
'The next Doctor' I thought was the lowest of the low. I mean that actually ruined Christmas for me, sitting down with a nice drink at the end of a long day only to watch that crap.

How much more of this NuWho trash I can take I don't know. A bigger Christmas present would be one story next year worthy of Classic Who.

I was too embarrassed to watch it with my family, so ended up viewing it on the portable in my bedroom with headphones.
