Looks like Torchwood is not going to have a full series next year either, Still more than Who Rolling Eyes

Looks like it will be a 5 episode mini series (one story) shown consecutive nights.

As for the bit about casting what's the best Martha will become the new in house Doctor and well if Rose can return why not Micky? Possible replacement for the whizz techno computer stuff don't you think.

Freema has been cast in Survivors so it depends on the shooting schedule.

Yup - Torchwood series 3 will be a "blink and you miss it" wonder, all over and done with in one week!

Unlike Primeval of course which is gearing up towards being THE sci-fi of 2009!

5 episodes is hardly much to take out of her schedule besides depending on how Survivors the remake is done. It may be the sort of series where different persons take a turn at the lead. So it's not impossible.

Mind this survivors remake wants to use a virus instead of a plague. Can't help to think 28 days later (zombiless) and Lost.

I was reading up on the remake a whole ago, and apart from the odd bit of re-tweaking to make the series more up to date it seems like it's going to be quite a faithful adaption of the original series.

I reckon Nation would approve of Hodges respectful treatment of his franchise, unlike some others who have misused his creations and done things against his express wishes before.

Shouldn't you be saying "Russell-Who?" considering he's all washed up and only has less than a quarter of the tv output in 2009?

The public have all moved on Rani and so should you.

He's the guy who knows how to make proper UK produced sci-fi serials unlike other pretenders who falsely boast such claims.

Lol, if he is so good why does no one know who he is?

Because he's not a fatheaded braggart who makes documentaries boring everyone else to death by continually stealing creative acclaim from others and going on about how brilliant he is.

He's piggy backing off Terry Nation's Survivors and I fully expect he'll be looking for acclaim for that the fatheaded braggard.
