Were those of you that do encouraged by your parents or other relatives? Or did you get into it some other way?

They're brainwashed into it from birth down here. I almost feel sorry for the poor little bastards. Laughing

I've been a Liverpool supported since i was about six in the days of shankly.

I did my time on the kop at uni but not after hillsborough. I can't stand watching them under Benitez....dulldulldull.

I have a soft spot for the stuff Arsenal play.

I don't. Many of the fans are just members of the lowest denominator of our society who think its justified to beat people up because their team beat their own.

Football is a sport for thickos and chavs.

Does anybody apart from B, support the teams of the places where they live, or were brought up?

I support Ipswich Town, who were the closest top flight team to Pextown in 1976.

I'm not so keen on the new Ipswich though, all this 'tractor boys' nonsense and the red bits in the club badge.

I'm just going out to watch the Forest vs Cardiff City game. It's live on BBC 2 at 5.05. My seat is in the top tier of the Trent End, just above the scoreboard. See if you can spot me doing the following: wallowing in the lack of intellectual stimulus; enjoying the company of the lowest denominator of society; not being able to use the English language coherently; having a fight; and generally being scummy along with all the other chavs.

You find the needless pain and suffering of an animal amusing do you? Rolling Eyes

Not cool, Monky. Not cool.

As someone who used to keep chickens I'm for keeping the fox population down but not by fox hunting However I was joking hence the "ripping sport" bit as a pun.

Rolling Eyes

Thanks for pointing that out.

Making a joke about the murder of defenseless animals is neither funny nor cool.

I took some lovely photos at the Forest/Cardiff game yesterday. I was going to post them here today, but the camera's at my friend's house. I'll post these masterpieces as soon as possible.

We were just on the way to a gig last night when the match was turning out.
We had to stop car because absolutely hoardes of football fans were using the zebra crossing in an orderly fashion.

Chav scum!

And 22,000 chav scum at that.

In the car on the way home, my friend and I heard a Forest fan on BBC Radio Nottingham thank the Cardiff fans who helped him jump-start his car. Vicious scum bastard football fans, the lot of them.

Congratulations! NUFC aren't exactly my favourite team but they - along with WBA - are clearly the best teams in the Championship. I would point out, however, that Forest have beaten both of them this season Laughing

Hopefully, Forest will join both of them even though the Reds' play-off history isn't the best.
