What, the pointy thing with the red stripe?

I'm not up on Star Wars merchandise. It was a bit after time. Yes, i'm that old. Wink Laughing

Pointy thing with red stripe? Beside the Airfix skeleton and the Colonial Viper? I have a feeling it's a Red Arrows hawk, but really I can't be sure. Age has fucked my eyes.

On the far left of the shelf, next to some kind of creature with a figure on it's back. It's probably a Star Wars thing, but i'm not overly familiar with Star Wars stuff. Smile

Surely that's an X-wing with its wings closed? That half globe would be R2-D2... I think... This is the pointy item with the red stripe next to the tauntaun yes? If that *is* a tauntaun...

I have the LEGO Tauntaun now! and also LEGO Imperial Snowtroopers.

My Doctor Who Collection is actually rather sadly lacking compared to other things.

Ah yes, that is an X-Wing! You opened it's S-foils - Very Happy - by pressing down R2D2's head.

It's really strange that I never had any Dr Who toys when I was a kid. I guess Star Wars hit me when I was 7-ish and knocked everything else out of my brain. I remember doing letraset panorama's featuring the Doctor though. Didn't they come on the inside of Weetabix packets?

The problem was Doctor Who toys like the action figures at that time were really crap, that much I do remember. That bendy rubbery plastic they used was dreadful, the Dalek figures were about the only decent ones, and those were tacky.

I have a very small collection, in fact I wouldn't call it so much a collection as a gathering of things.

4th,5th,6th,10th and 11th Doctor figures
3 Daleks
Various DVDs
SFX magazine with the 3D cover
Radio Times with the fold out TARDIS interior cover.

I sold most of my collection on ebay as it was getting out of hand...I have kept all my DVD's though, my treasured Pertwee signed T Shirt and some Targets as well as Denys Fisher stuff!!

*envy* Laughing

My collection's not very big: DVDs, a few Targets and BBC Books, two BFs and a growing selection of the Classic action figures.
